While dining with Jing Jing, Yu Tu unexpectedly spots his teacher and his spouse at the same restaurant and invites them to join their table. Tensions rise when his resignation comes up, leading to an argument where Yu Tu becomes frustrated with Jing Jing for supporting him. Shortly after, Yu Tu gets a critical call, requiring him to embark on a business trip to address an issue with J-X, resulting in a prolonged separation from Jing Jing.
