After being released from prison, a man arrives in New York City with hopes of convincing his friend to leave the city and join him in running a farm. However, Flint and Arcaro caution him that his "partner" is trouble. Despite his friend's deep entanglement in the criminal underworld, including involvement in murder, he shows no desire to leave NYC. In a desperate attempt to help his friend, the man confronts the harsh reality of their situation, leading to tragic consequences.
