As Natsume walks home, he stumbles upon a letter lying on the ground. It appears to be from a local man who requests Natsume's help in reaching his school. However, this man is actually a youkai with a past connection to a human girl. Although he ended their relationship, the girl is still holding on, unwilling to let go.
