Episode Overview

After a ten-year absence, Bourdain journeys back to Uruguay, discovering a nation undergoing significant social evolution while still holding onto remnants of its colonial heritage, particularly in its culinary traditions. Joined by Uruguayan chef and restaurateur Ignacio “Nacho” Mattos, they travel to Santa Lucia, where Nacho's grandmother prepares a traditional Italian family feast.
