Episode Overview

Mary and her friend Corey Conway are overjoyed to discover they've both won their senior class's "All Sports Award." However, their excitement is short-lived when local business leaders withdraw the award from Corey upon learning she is a mother. Outraged by this unfair treatment, Mary publicly gives her award to Corey during the assembly. Meanwhile, at home, Eric and Annie are alarmed to find marijuana in the backpack of Simon's new friend. They confront the boy's family, who initially deny any problem, but after involving the police, the father agrees to seek help and employment. Additionally, Matt faces consequences for violating the honor code during an exam, while Lucy wrestles with whether to assist a boy she likes in accessing the school’s computer system while working in the attendance office.
