The family has found shelter in a large boot discovered in the woods, which serves as their makeshift base while Pod embarks on adventures to locate another family of borrowers said to dwell in a badger's den nearby. In this episode, viewers are introduced to a new borrower: a young boy who is around Arrietty's age and resides in the forest.
