Following a near-fatal experimental Hep C treatment, Wes decides to leave NorBAC and join an advanced HCV program in Stockholm. Meanwhile, a city councilor with racist views alleges that his daughter has been poisoned by Muslim extremists. In a separate storyline, the FDA considers expediting the approval of certain medications to assist an immune-deficient woman who contracted smallpox.
