A terrified sixteen-year-old boy finds himself in a dire situation, having to take the fall for the offenses of a drug addict he's gotten tangled up with. Together, they carried out a burglary that escalated tragically when they ended up killing a police officer. This boy happens to be the brother of Terry's current girlfriend, adding a layer of complexity to the already tense situation.
