After celebrating the christening of Lynnette and Jerome's baby, the Hetebrinks find themselves overwhelmed with emotion, feeling they may be too old to start a family. Encouraged by the Reverend to explore adoption, they turn to Deacon Frye for help in bringing a baby boy into their lives. True to his efficient nature, the deacon swiftly arranges an adoption. However, they are surprised to discover that their new son is actually an 18-year-old. Now, the sisters face a tough choice: return him or embrace the challenge and love him as their son, Ricky.
