Jack encounters Ariana Kane, the head of Alliance counterintelligence, as she arrives to probe into Emily's vanishing and uncover the identity of the person blackmailing Sloane. At the same time, Marshall embarks on his inaugural mission alongside Sydney as his partner. Vaughn arranges for Will to undergo a CIA psychological evaluation. Meanwhile, Francie begins to notice and question the secretive actions of Sydney and Will.
