Sydney undergoes evaluation by the DSR to unravel her enigmatic connection to a haunting 500-year-old painting and a prophecy detailed in a Rambaldi manuscript. At the same time, Sloane, having identified the leader of the rogue faction known as "The Man," receives alarming news from Edward Poole, a member of the Alliance of Twelve, suggesting that a trusted friend might be collaborating with the adversaries.
