Former Scotland Yard detective Millie Black has returned to her native Jamaica after years in the U.K., taking a role with the local police. While trying to rebuild her relationship with her sister, Millie and her partner Curtis find themselves investigating the disappearance of a young schoolgirl. This case leads them into a dangerous confrontation with an influential family in Kingston, as well as an ongoing investigation from a detective back in the U.K.
