Claire, a London hairdresser dedicated to maintaining her one-bedroom apartment for 22 hours each week, lends a hand to 67-year-old Charlie, a former binman from Hemel Hempstead, who is left with just one clean teaspoon. Meanwhile, Andy, hailing from Leicester and a fan of cleaning in pairs, crosses paths with Ian, a passionate historian and collector from Colchester, whose two-bedroom home is filled with an astonishing collection of 300 troll dolls.
