In Barry's absence, the team faces the challenge of dealing with the reemergence of a familiar foe, Girder. Noticing that Girder seems to be following the same path as during his previous assault, Iris steps up to serve as bait in a plan to capture him at S.T.A.R. Labs. At the same time, Barry is determined to find a way back to his former life.
