On the evening of December 30, 1999, a devastating fire engulfs the Freeman family residence in Welch, OK. Although four individuals are present in the house, only the remains of Kathy and Danny Freeman are recovered. Detectives Jax Miller and Sarah Caliean begin to unravel the case, quickly realizing that the situation is far more complex than it initially appeared.
