Castiel finds himself employed as a clerk at a convenience store when he discovers a troubling pattern of local vanishings. Concerned, he reaches out to the Winchesters for assistance. However, Dean decides that Sam should remain behind with Kevin to focus on researching the demon tablet, leaving him to team up with Castiel to investigate the mysterious disappearances.
