Dr. Hook becomes convinced to support Druse in her quest to uncover the source of a haunting after discovering a toy doll in the elevator shaft. Concurrently, a prisoner and his girlfriend attempt a suicide pact that takes an unexpected turn when the Kingdom Hospital staff intervenes in a unique way. Meanwhile, Dr. Stegman faces serious repercussions as it comes to light that he previously killed a patient during surgery in Boston and is now under scrutiny for another alleged surgical error involving a young girl, prompting her mother to consider a malpractice lawsuit. Additionally, Peter Rickman experiences a mental visit from the creature depicted in his painting, as he encounters Mary and Paul.
