Episode Overview

Cliff’s old college friend, Craig Browning, is defending Cameron Ivers on vehicular manslaughter charges. Craig is being blackmailed over an affair and pressured to steer the case a certain way. To stay clean, he asks Cliff to meet the blackmailer. But when Scott Aston turns up dead, suspicion falls on Cliff. With Jerri’s help, Cliff learns Aston worked for John Robinson and Mark Reeves—business rivals who enjoy one-upping Ivers. The woman Craig was involved with turns out to be their secretary. Meanwhile, Ben crash-diets to squeeze into his old choral suit for his fortieth reunion.
