Middleton High School engages in a student exchange program, and Ron is chosen to travel to Japan, while a student named Hirotaka comes to Middleton. Ron quickly discovers that his destination is a covert ninja academy. Meanwhile, Kim and Monique develop crushes on Hirotaka. The situation escalates when Lord Monkey Fist steals the Lotus Blade from Ron's sensei, leaving Ron to confront the villain alone. Despite his determination, he must face this challenge without Kim by his side, making the task even more daunting.
