Phoebe catches the attention of a record producer eager to create a music video for her hit song "Smelly Cat." Meanwhile, Ross's budding romance with Rachel causes Monica to feel as though she's back to sharing a space with her brother, a situation she finds frustrating. On another front, Joey contemplates the idea of returning to live with Chandler, but he soon learns that Chandler has already welcomed a new roommate into their apartment.
