Title: Private Dancer Plot: On October 6, 1979, a hopeful dancer and waitress at a strip club finds herself on the brink of falling into prostitution. To save her from this fate, Sam, performing as "Rod the Bod," seeks to persuade her to try out for a professional dance troupe. However, the choreographer doubts he can dedicate enough time to mentor her, especially since she is deaf, complicating her chances of making it in the competitive world of dance.
