A disfigured female corpse is found secured to the underside of a bus transporting inmates from a women’s prison when a severed arm unexpectedly flies out and collides with a passing car. Catherine spearheads the investigation, initially suspecting the woman was attempting to flee, but the clues begin to suggest a more sinister murder. Meanwhile, Warrick investigates the stabbing death of a gambler discovered in his brother’s kitchen, who suffered multiple wounds.
