Episode Overview

Jamie is still in a relationship with Isabel, but he’s beginning to feel trapped. Meanwhile, Laura is getting used to her new life with Emily, enjoying their independence until Janet bursts in, ready to challenge the divorce settlement. Janet hopes for an amicable agreement but is at a disadvantage against Alan's dazzling and cutthroat lawyer, Sally. She briefly entertains hope when Alan seems generous, only to discover he’s involved with Sally. Meanwhile, Beth tries too hard to win over a charming charity worker, leaving Mike to step in and save her from embarrassment.
