Episode Overview
After pizza delivery driver Jarvis Griffin is shot and robbed outside his vehicle in Shreveport, police gather eyewitnesses and record their statements. Sixteen-year-old Corey Williams emerges as the main suspect, and during interrogation, he confesses to the crime. Prosecutor Hugo Holland represents Caddo Parish, known for having the highest rate of death penalty convictions in the U.S., making Corey the youngest inmate on Louisiana's death row. However, a determined defense team investigates further, discovering that Corey’s confession is dubious and that concealed police interviews with other witnesses indicate a different suspect.
