Tom wagers with Diana that she can’t be nice to people for an entire week, but her unexpected kindness only results in confusion. Meanwhile, Baines plans to host a glamorous contest for the elderly women at the home, offering a cruise for two as the grand prize. Basil, eager to marry Betty, asks his son-in-law Geoffrey, whose company is sponsoring the event, to ensure Betty wins. However, when Betty hesitates and decides not to participate, Diana steps in, knowing a journalist is on hand to prevent any cheating. She ultimately wins the contest but generously gives the prize to Betty and Basil.
