The icy waters of southeast Alaska are the backdrop as Ax Men welcomes a newcomer in the form of a tugboat company. Tasked with transporting Papac Alaska's valuable load to the mill, the seasoned crew adds a fiery former Pihl worker, Dustin Dethlefs, to their ranks. Meanwhile, Coatsy at Papac Alaska must contend with a returning former rigger, intensifying the competition. At Pihl, the latest rookie struggles to meet expectations. In Florida, Jimmy Smith goes solo, while Craig at Rygaard makes a bold move to undermine Gabe and eliminate chaser Dave Schroeder from the team.
