She urges Sakuta to keep up the pretense of their relationship. Although he feels a sense of loyalty to Mai, Sakuta can’t abandon Tomoe, as she’s anxious about losing her place in her class. Consequently, he hesitantly consents to act as Tomoe’s fake boyfriend for the time being.
