Episode Overview

Eric is supposed to be focused on writing a speech for work, but he can't shake the annoyance of seeing everyone else enjoying themselves. His day takes a turn when an old college crush unexpectedly reaches out, wanting to reconnect. However, Eric has already committed to taking Claire to the non-allergenic carnival. So, he ends up bringing both Claire and his former fling along. After a lively evening at the carnival, Eric drives his old friend home, and they awkwardly try to sneak in some intimacy without making a sound—something that proves to be quite the challenge.
