Hetty travels to a quaint fishing village close to Whitby to reconnect with a long-lost cousin. There, she encounters a client, an elderly woman distressed by strange dog barking sounds. Meanwhile, back at home, Robert is gearing up for a controversial piece on a local construction company, but he begins to question the accuracy of his information. At the same time, Janet is dealing with an irritating neighbor who refuses to accept her boundaries.
