Overview
Journalist Hannis Martinsson, portrayed by Ulrich Thomsen, is drawn back to the Faroe Islands when he receives a distressing message from Sonja, a young woman claiming to be his daughter. Hesitant but compelled, he returns home only to stumble upon Sonja's lifeless body amidst the chaos of a whale hunt. As Hannis digs deeper into the mystery, he clashes with local detective chief inspector Karla Mohr, played by Maria Rich. His quest for the truth reveals a tangled web of community secrets, forcing him to confront the lengths he’s willing to go for answers.
