S01E10 Stars on the Ground
Episode Overview
Keisei is devastated to learn that Minai has been killed by an auditor, especially since Ouri had been protecting her. In a fit of anger, he storms out of the hospital to confront Bishop Gon. Meanwhile, Ouri is approached by Kasuka, who shows him a magazine about a cult whose followers are said to regenerate after being burned alive. Suspecting a connection to the Shikabane, Ouri investigates the cult but soon realizes it's a scam. As he leaves, the cult leader is confronted and killed by a group of Seven Corpses known as Skikusei Hokuto. They conspire with the traitor Akasha to wipe out the Kougon shikabane sect, Shouhouha. Meanwhile, Keisei tracks the auditor to Ouri's part-time job, but the auditors flee before he can act. The episode closes with Makina experiencing visions of the Shichisei Hokuto, hinting at her death at their hands.
