A wealthy widower is eager to contribute a significant sum to the church, but only if the Deacon can help him find a pious woman to marry. To facilitate this, the Deacon hosts a gathering at his home, showcasing the single women from the congregation. During the event, the widower notices Thelma and concludes that she is the perfect match for him.
