Manolo (Robert Urich) is a young Basque man who struggles with his identity, as his community doesn’t see him as a true man. This stems from his refusal to engage in a traditional Basque rite of passage: fighting his father, Alejo (Nehemiah Persoff). By rejecting this custom, Manolo faces judgment and disappointment from those around him, caught between cultural expectations and his personal beliefs.
