Jimena is heartbroken upon discovering her father's involvement with Alexia. León warns Ramiro that the police are preparing to arrest Jimena, leaving him with no choice but to confess to protect her. Bernarda begs Ramiro to come forward, and he ultimately decides to reveal the truth during his broadcast. Meanwhile, Lima revels in Ramiro's downfall, but Ramiro cleverly plans to expose Lima's connections to Altamirano in the process.
