Monica is thrilled to be assigned to her cherished Ireland, the place where she first experienced life. Her mission involves a group of teens from Northern Ireland, whom she aims to convince to join the Project Children program in the United States. This diverse group includes both Catholics and Protestants, long-time rivals embroiled in a violent conflict. While a recent peace treaty offers hope, the success of this peace hinges on the younger generation. During her interviews, Monica uncovers deep-rooted bitterness and prejudice on both sides. She believes that two specific teens, Tommy, a Catholic, and Rose, a Protestant, could inspire others towards reconciliation. Encouraged by his admired brother Gavin, Tommy is motivated to embrace the journey to America.
