Episode Overview

What if you slipped into a coma and awoke five years later to find everything you cherished is gone? The episode begins with Steve celebrating the launch of his architectural firm with his partner, Matthew. Suddenly, tragedy strikes when his son falls from the roof but is saved by Monica, who also discreetly inspects an angel keychain. This incident leads Steve to take his old, beat-up car, which ends up in an accident. When he regains consciousness, five years have vanished, and he discovers that his wife, Bonnie, has fallen for Matthew, believing Steve would never recover. Meanwhile, Monica feels guilty about her role in this chaos and decides to withdraw from her task, prompting Al to intervene. It becomes clear that Steve’s past was marred by a cycle of abuse, complicating the situation further.
