Juan wakes up to the horrifying sight of three men lynching his dear father. Later, as he travels with a wagon train, he encounters one of the murderers, who is being tormented by Native Americans. Despite the man's past actions, Juan decides to help him recover, all while pretending to search for the other two men responsible for his father's death.
