Truly attempts to repair Clegg's vacuum cleaner. Meanwhile, Compo and Howard find themselves in a scuffle with a large man. Barry faces a predicament when Marina kisses him, leaving her lipstick smudged on his lips. To justify this to Glenda, he recruits the help of his friends, and they begin circulating the story that the kisses were for a "charity event." In another subplot, Auntie Wainwright manages to sell a motorbike to two police officers.
