On September 8, 1989, Partnair Flight 394, a chartered flight traveling from Oslo to Hamburg, unexpectedly plummets from an altitude of 22,000 feet. The deteriorating propeller aircraft ultimately crashes into the ocean, resulting in the tragic loss of all 55 individuals on board.
