On August 2, 2005, Air France Flight 358 encounters a severe storm while landing and overruns the runway. The Airbus A340 veers through the airport's perimeter fence and tumbles into a narrow ravine, igniting a fire. Contributing factors to the incident include the aircraft's deviation from the designated approach path, a late touchdown on the runway, and a sluggish deployment of the thrust reversers by the crew.
