During the thrilling Reno Air Races, Jimmy Leeward pilots a specially modified P-51 Mustang, eager to break the existing speed record. However, midway through the intense competition, disaster strikes as his aircraft begins to spin uncontrollably, ultimately crashing down onto the tarmac right in front of the spectators.
