On October 7, 2008, Qantas Flight 72 encounters two unexpected pitch-down incidents while traveling from Singapore to Perth. Of the 315 passengers and crew aboard, 119 sustain injuries. The aircraft is forced to make an urgent landing at Learmonth Airport, located near Exmouth in Western Australia, to ensure the safety of everyone on board.
