In Sharon's social studies class, each student is assigned a sophisticated baby-doll for a project on "parenting." Sharon envisions herself as a future mom who can manage it all—balancing family life with her ambitions. Initially, she handles the challenge well. However, as the demands of ‘parenting’ clash with her responsibilities—caring for her pets, working at the vet, and maintaining friendships—she struggles. Her obsession with the doll distracts her, leading to a mishap when a toddler feeds her dog chocolate at the park. Rushing to the vet with her sick pet, she learns that caring for a loved one requires maturity and responsibility.
