Denji is a young teen navigating life as a Devil Hunter. Burdened with his father's debt, he teams up with his companion Pochita, a "Chainsaw Devil," to hunt devils for the yakuza, all while enduring a life of extreme poverty. Just as he thinks his situation couldn't deteriorate further, he faces betrayal from the yakuza and meets his end. As Denji begins to fade away, he hears a voice echoing within his mind...
