Episode Overview

After surveillance footage from the mall shows Grim's shadow looming over some endangered owls, naturalist Corey Nebraska accuses him of the attacks. Meanwhile, Mandy speculates that Grim might be sleepwalking again. The trio—Billy, Mandy, and Nebraska—follow Grim during one of his nocturnal wanderings, only to uncover that it's actually Billy's mother, Gladys, who is behind the owl assaults. When confronted, she shares her deep-seated resentment towards the birds, stemming from a traumatic incident where an owl devoured her pet rat, Sniffles. In a surprising twist, Billy’s dad admits he was the one who actually consumed Sniffles to stave off hunger.
