Ragnar and Lagertha set sail from Kattegat again, this time with plans to establish a colony in Wessex. Upon their arrival, King Ecbert welcomes the Norsemen and presents them with a proposal. Although some leaders express their doubts, Ragnar decides to join forces with Wessex and leads his men into battle alongside them.
