As the seasons shift from fall to winter, residents of Alaska are gearing up for the colder months ahead. In Eagle, Andy is on the hunt for moose, aiming to stock up on red meat for him and Kate. Meanwhile, in Kavik, Sue is closing up camp and traveling to Fairbanks for a foot procedure. The Hailstones take advantage of the burbot season, teaching their daughters the art of ice fishing on the river. Over in Chandalar, Glenn busily works on fixing up his cabin before the biting winter arrives.
