Dennis eavesdrops on Mr. Wilson lamenting about missing his raccoon coat, prompting him to share the tale with the local newspaper. As a result, the whole day turns into a spectacle, with various townsfolk arriving to present Mr. Wilson with raccoon coats, each one hoping to cheer him up. Dennis’s well-meaning but mischievous act leads to a hilarious chain of events, as Mr. Wilson finds himself overwhelmed by the unexpected attention and the multitude of coats.
