Episode Overview

Eddie and Joy get ready for Jeff's birthday celebration, but Eddie is reluctant to gift lingerie. Instead, he opts for a personal gift. During the dinner with several couples, Eddie indulges in two desserts for himself while Steph tries on the lingerie. Jeff feels neglected and is upset to see that only Joy has given him a gift. Frustrated, Steph abandons her hopes for a romantic evening. Eddie surprises Jeff with a fantastic bottle of wine he knows Jeff will love, only for Joy to discover it’s a $1,000 bottle she had hidden away. As they attempt to reclaim it, Jeff figures out Eddie's intentions. After being asked to leave the Woodcock's home, Jeff ultimately returns the wine, leading to a heartfelt moment over a drink together.
