Oliver takes it upon himself to assist Mia, a young girl living on the streets known as Speedy, in escaping her perilous situation by offering her training. However, Mia betrays his trust. Meanwhile, Lois seeks Clark's support in securing a position as a television presenter, but both are taken aback when the network proposes they work together as a duo.
